The things Elie had to go through was unbearable. To get to the camps his family and him had to travel in train cars that were cramped. I would not be able to do that at all, knowing that i would be going to a camp to get killed or having to work hard. When Elie got to the camp he was immediately separated from his mom and sister. I couldn't stand the thought of being away from my mom or sibling at all. Elie also worked really hard so he wouln't get killed. The most exciting part was when he found his dad, i was happy for him because he had someone to be with. I would be really happy if i found my dad. The march was really sad because Elie's dad died and now Elie was alone. I am really glad Elie won the Noble Peace Prize because he diserved that after all he went through at the camp.
I think what Eli went through was a horrible thing at the camp. To begin with the cattle cart rides he would be forced to go on to travel from place to place. He even said, "those cattle carts were the death of.my adolescence", reassuring how terrifying that experience was. Also losing his family at such a young age through everything he went through. First with his mom then fathers death and not having support was probably tough. I know i probably wouldn't have the strength to do the things he did without family. And the fact that even all those hard memories he still managed to write the book about the holocaust he went through. Even with other books he did too. Maybe he wrote his own book to show people what he did by himself and how brave he really was. Also showing other people that your life won't be bad until you've walked in his shoes. He won the noble peace prize not for what he went through and being strong but to go back and remember all those hard times and share with everyone
